Slick bluesman and his band from Los Angeles who hit us with nine fine songs with the outstanding powerful piped female, Kacee Clanton delivering the majority of the lead vocals.

 

Highlights include covers of ‘Messing’ With The Kid’ made famous by Rory Gallagher, Jimmy Cox’s ‘Nobody Loves You (When You’re Down And Out)’ or the Eric Clapton live staple that is ‘Further On Up The Road’.

 

When it comes to original material by Adrian & Kacee you can’t go wrong with the Led Zep acoustic meets electric like ‘Who Am I To Say’ that reminds me of ‘Bron Y Aur Stomp’ or the epic ‘Why Am I Singing The Blues’ which closes the album.

 

Decent and definitely one to watch!
