Sendelica – The Cromlech Chronicles

(S/R – 2016)

A four piece from Wales plus three guests who basically sound like the Nik Turner era of Hawkwind with all the drawn out instrumental, experimental avant-guard weirdness with Saxophone.

You come across a few Floyd like moments at times and overall it’s a chill-out ambient kind of album that has one track, the opener in fact called ‘The Cromlech Suite’ that clocks in at over 23 minutes – just like they used to do it in the early 70’s.

Pychedelic quasi-retroness indeed.

7/10
