Probably one of the hardest working bands around that hail from Glasgow, UK who like their album title are well and truly mavericks of their profession.

 

Comprising of Brothers, Alan & Steve Nimmo (Both Guitar/Vocals ), Zander Greenshields (Bass), Andrew Scott (Drums) and Jonny Dyke (Piano) who unleash this 10-song strong album on us that falls into blues, blues rock, soul and slight funk too at times.

 

Quality upon quality is available here and starts up with the Bad Company meets Southern Rock of 'Never Give In' and carries on with standouts including the Rhodes filled pop-funk of 'I Will Not Fall' that has a storming soaring solo to be found in there; the bouncy 'n' lively 'One World'; the lovely, seasonal ballad 'When The Winter Comes' or beautiful closing 'End Of The Line'. Such a well-.balanced, mixed and recorded album that never fails to impress.
