Stringman Delivery – Stranded On The Moon
(S/R – 2016)
All the way from San Antonio, Texas, this album kicks off with the bluesy harp filled 'This Train Ain't Turning Back' and continues with a very Neil Young like kinda style such as on the title track 'Stranded On The Moon''
Love how the songs are like real stories and believable as opposed to the usual contrived rock cuts full of cliches with marvellous songs that draw you in like 'Dance, Dance, Dance'; 'I Wish You Could Have Been There' with its repetitive but effective riffs or 'The Roads I Choose' with the extensive guitar solo throughout the song.
Solid and refreshing.
