A cracking Eurometal/Prog Metal/Power Metal/Heavy Metal or call them what you will Metal outfit from Italy whose vocalist, Ivan Giannini (of Vision Divine & Derdian) at times reminds me of Freddie Mercury in the singing dept.

Completing the band line-up are Fates Warning Drummer, Mark Zonder, Symphony X's Bassist, Mike Lepond plus Massima La Russia on Guitars plus Constantin Terzago on Keyboards. An album that features a ton of complex arrangements where they are pretty unpredictable at times with 'Autumn In Berlin' being a killer example not to mention beautiful vocal harmonies and somersaulting guitar and keyboard riffs!

'When The Night Comes Down' has you looking behind your back when driving when you hear that police siren on this marvellous number or what about 'Cursed' with the Yngwie-like sweet-picking solo in it; the gloriously vocalled 'The Other Me' that is stunningly beautiful to say the least or the extremely dramatic 'Motion' that has all sorts of stuff going on in it musically and vocally.

Closer, 'The Faulty Miracle Of Life' is like Queen on Prog pills and really goes for it in all departments especially in the chorus singing harmonics – then there's that jazz piano in there at the end... what the... hahaha – love it!

Well worth firing up a few times many!

9/10
