Well it's a packed out hot 'n' sweaty legendary club hangout with the Gunner and 'Bridge members other band who did a run of some of the main venues on the Sunset Strip, Hollywood, California, USA. This night it's the turn of The Roxy.

A Confident, consistent performance with many Guns 'N' Roses numbers, the bands own material plus tunes culled from other associated acts too. Plenty of camera angles, killer sound and an audience who are very excitable throughout the entire show. Myles has that love or hate it voice that is high ended with deep grunge overtones and some unsettling pronunciations and phrasings at times of many well-known songs. The folk here seem to love it anyway....

Highlights include 'Rocket Queen' with its epic long solo section from Slash; the double-neck played 'Anastasia'; the excellent 'Starlight'; a killer take of Velvet Revolver's 'Slither' with the closer that is of course 'Paradise City' - fondly about Los Angeles and more to the point, Hollywood itself. There's the odd bum note from Mr. Hudson himself but ain't 'Real Rock 'N' Roll' is often more about mistakes than pure perfection?

Worth pointing out is that fact that some of the better points of the show are lifted out and added as bonus tracks after the main set itself for some bizarre reason with a major stand-out being a bright, vocally amazing rendition of 'You're Crazy' vocalised by bassist, Todd Kerns who has a supreme set of pipes on him or the 80's like 'Wicked Stone' that has some great musical arrangements in it. The line-up is completed by Brent Fitz (Drums) and Frank Sidoris on (Rhythm Guitar).

This is a decent enough DVD but maybe better if an interview section was with these characters. In my humble opinion, for what it's worth, it would prove far more interesting that just a show alone.
