Vince Neil recently brought his band to our neck of the woods for a headline slot at the annually held Cocofest as we call it. This was definitely a night that there was no way I was going to miss after being a fan of Motley' for many years!

He came out with all the classic Crue hits we know and love, such as 'Looks That Kill', 'Dr. Feelgood',  'Kickstart My Heart', 'Girls Girls Girls' and the ever-popular 'Home Sweet Home'. His voice was sounding polished and strong... surrounding himself with the band members of Slaughter which included Dana Strum on bass; Zoltan Chaney on drums and guitarist, Jeff Blando.

They proceeded to put on one hell of a show which was thoroughly enjoyed by a large enthusiastic fun-filled Florida crowd. At one point in the proceedings, Vince left the stage and let the rest of the band do a solo of sorts. This included them tearing through covers like Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love' and Black Sabbath's 'Heaven And Hell' with Mr. Blando handling and dare I say nailing those vocals. It also included Zoltan Cheney's acrobatic drum playing which was extremely impressive.

All in all, these seasoned Pros left everyone happy and wanting more. Definitely a show worth seeing! We can only hope they will come back again some time soon.

10/10
