Her – Revolution

Imagine banjo riffery with industrial sounds and a female vocalist laid over the top in a style that mixes Muse with Britney frikkin’ Spears at times – wtf? Yeah you read that right. The ‘her’ in question is New Yorker, Monique who now records in Nashville.

This band are damn quirky at times with highlights in the opening title track ‘Revolution’; the Def Leppard like ‘Damn’; the catchy hook-filled ‘No Regrets’ or the nice ballad that is ‘Heaven Crashes Down’ or the ballsy closer ‘Mean Man’ that is not a cover of the WASP number.

Interesting.
