Bad Touch – Shake A Leg

(Marshall Records - 2018)

Bad Touch - Shake A Leg USE.jpg

The most recent album from those Norfolk Boys who've really put the work in on the live side in the last year or two.

It hits you straight away with 'Lift Your Head Up' that sets the bar and doesn't let go in quality from there on. With songs like the ballsy 'Skyman' with it's brilliant hights, 'Show Me What It Means', 'I Belong', with it's pure homeliness and 'Take Me Away' (gutsy groove and southern tinge) this has the ingredients to be a future classic album from an quintessential UK band.

They step into a Jazz episode on 'Dressed To Kill' that has nothing to do with Kiss and get almost dirty progressive slabby rock on 'Take Me Away' or gorgeous ballads such as the acoustic 'Slow Tempest' and the lump in the throat 'Bury Me' as well. A beatifully recorded album and we are looking forward to the new one out soon too!

Get shaking it!

10/10
