Sweet Electric/Moskito -
Ye Olde Salutation Inn, Nottingham Thursday, 27th November, 2025
Setlist: Thrill Seeker/Killing Joke/Sweet Fruit/517/Clinomania/Satisfaction/STFU.
Rude, crude and swagger. Lots of swagger! Throw in a healthy dose of energy and you come out with a blend called Moskito who are made up of Jake (Lead Vocals), Will-(Bass/Vocals), Dezzy (Guitar/Vocals), Sam(Lead Guitar) & Drew (Drums).
It is hard to put this band into a genre since there are so many influences to their music like Indie, Rock and styles you associate with System Of A Down. The Singer, Jake is perfect for the job. He has a laddish aura around him and a very cheeky charm that carries the performance. It is hard to look away from him as he sings and moves around the small stage.
I already love him as a front man. But to deliver the music you need a good band, it's not just about the singer! Dezzy and Sam are two truly amazing musicians who understand the power of balance. They don't hog the limelight but when the moment arrives for them to shine, they instinctively step forward and deliver brilliance.

Crucially supporting this is the stellar rhythm section, Drew and Will. They are the engine of the band, executing their duties with practical perfection and zero fuss, providing the flawless, steady foundation that allows the whole performance to soar. This balance of upfront talent and rock-solid backing makes their musical chemistry irresistible.
The music is fast, sometimes hard and written with a child like humour. Laughing at dirty words and getting the audience to sing along like naughty school boys. But because of the charm and that cheeky glint in the eye, it works.
The band didn't just meet expectations; they won us over entirely and instantly made us fans. Their performance live is simply superb: an experience that words struggle to adequately describe. They possess an infectious, high energy stage presence that proves they are a band you absolutely must see.

Beyond the music, there's a magnetic quality to them. They bring the party and possess the kind of vibrant, fun-loving energy that makes you want to think you could just hang out with them afterwards.
Excellent set.
Setlist: Heir To The Throne/Long Way Back/Mexico/Living It Up/These Guns/Piece Of The Pie/Feel Good/ Somewhere/Leading/Killer/Party Rock Anthem/Get VP/Hard Times.
The main event! Brad is an Australian force of nature. He comes on stage and simply doesn't stop moving. The first song, 'Heir to the throne' is a difficult song to sing and he nails it. He is really pumped for this gig.
On the prowl, constantly moving, scanning the crowd as he goes in to the next song. You can feel the music and Brad Marr's power flow through you. It's hard not to want to dance and sing to this mix of AC/DC and Glam Rock.

His band mates comprising of Mike Schneider (Lead Guitar), Bobo (Drums), Dactah Keule (Guitar) & Jonas Bareiter (Bass) are backing him up with the vocals and the music. Some amazing rock guitar and fast heavy drumming.
They all have some charisma about their performance. With German precision, a lot of European and antipodean charm and you have a band with energy, fun and boundless energy.

Brad was wearing awesome jacket looking like a world war two battleship with dazzle camouflage and a Cossack fur hat. It must have been boiling on stage. He was still moving back and forth and trying to get the Thursday night crowd rocking.
Plenty of cow bell and lager drink challenges from Brad. Some in the crowd bought the Sweet Electric Cow Bells and played along with the band. The songs flowed as did the mood especially when they performed the LMFAO 'Party Rock Anthem'. The crowd were doing their best moves. It truly had turned the night into a party atmosphere.

Sadly, the last songs played out and the crowd cried out for more but that really was the end of a magnificent show. Brad came to the congregation, shaking hands and thanking all those who were present tonight. All are true gentlemen who took time to meet the fans and sign merch. I can't wait for them to come back again.
A fabulous night.
