Mike Tramp's White Lion / Crimes Of Passion UK –
Corporation, Sheffield, Sunday 9th November, 2025
Setlist: Henning's Blood/Body And Soul/Love Is To Die For/Stranger Than Fiction/Catch Me If You Can/Blown Away/Separate Ways (Journey cover).
COP UK have been around for 20 years and carry an excellent reputation for being an incredible live band and because of this is was super excited to see them perform.
Dale Radcliffe is a very expressive frontman. He has the look of a Rock Star complete with Rock Star poses! He has some nice banter and chemistry with German Keyboardist, Henning Wanner much to the amusement of the audience.

Lead Guitarist, Cathy KT Marty and Bassist, Joey Roxx were eye catchingly awesome. Plenty of movement playing off each other and lots of enthusiasm and finesse while Kev Tonge kept the whole set moving.
COP UK delivered an excellent performance that has a strong European Rock feel. You couldn't tell that Cathy and Joey are not the regular band members because they fitted in perfectly. What truly elevates their sound though is Dale's incredible voice. He is an absolute power house.

The band treated the audience to a short but tightly executed set, ending in a brilliant Journey cover. I highly recommend catching them live and certainly hope to see them on stage again soon.
Setlist: Out With The Boys/All The Fallen Men/Hungry/Living On The Edge/El Salvador/Little Fighter/Broken Heart/Lights And Thunder/Tell Me/Wait/When The Children Cry/Lady Of The Valley/Radar Love.
Having never been into White Lion I wasn't sure what I was going to get. Mike talked to me about power and that it's not from the band it's from the singer and performance. He was spot on. He performed with such comfortable self assurance. Walking around the stage, oozing charm charisma and that power he was talking about.
Mike scans the audience, picking out an area of the crowd, connecting with the fans and making everyone in that place feeling like they are the most important part of his show. That, right there is a special gift. A talent that you don't learn, you are born with it. Making the whole room feeling like they are important and included on your own journey.

He was good but so was his band. The Guitarist, Marcus Nand looks like a man chiselled out of Rock! He has the looks and the talent. His playing made some of the songs heavier than the recording. Taking centre stage several times, holding his guitar up high while playing some incredible, massive solos.
The Bassist, Jerry Best smiles and played with pure enjoyment of being in that moment. Morten Hellborn's drumming is very competent without being overly flashy. Leaving all the focus on that man up front.

Mike Tramp might have started his journey with White Lion in the 80's but time seemed to have no effect on him. The years melted away as he and his band transported us back to our youth. A fantastic performance bringing us a nostalgic trip back in time.
Even a cover song thrown in at the finish, Golden Earing's 'Radar Love', leaving the crowd dancing and singing along to a perfect end. To close off a really entertaining night he had time to meet, talk and have his photo with the fans: For free! No paid 'Meet and Greet" because he knows it's all about fans. He is the perfect gentleman from start to finish and long may he continue.

It still isn't my sort of music but Mike's charm and flashy grin is winning me over.
