UK Rockers, Skam from Leicester to be exact, who we are gonna be playing Sheffield's Rockin' The Bowl in September deliver us this neat 6 track E.P. to grace our ears in the meantime.

 

For those of you who aren't familiar with them, they are in fact a trio made up of Steve Hill (Guitar/Vocals), Matt Gilmore (Bass/Backing Vocals) & Neal Hill (Drums/Backing Vocals). This does not let up at all and instantly kicks in with the throbbing and booming 'Green Eyes' with its fast rhythm riffery. The song 'One Track Mind' features The Answer's Guitarist, Paul Mahon trading solos that has a modern rock meets almost stoner groove to it which is real electric and totally grabs you!

 

'How Many Times' has a Foo Fighter like feel to it with fantastic vocal performances in the chorus section with closer 'On The Run' has this cool repeating run in the guitar area that moulds so well with the slamming drum-work from Neal and deep givings from the bass of Matt – topped off with fantastic throat work from Steve.
